Omaha native Lindsay Assman, Bluestone's newest Leasing Agent, lives with a white cat named Nilla. She studied poetry at UNO and still enjoys writing, but that’s not her only artistic pursuit. “I like to paint; I usually do calligraphy and lettering, quotes with little illustrations. I like to do flowers a lot.” 

Now, lest you imagine Lindsay as a reclusive character in a 19th-century novel, you should know that she has other creative interests that go beyond poetry and calligraphy. For one, she and her friends enjoy going out to some of Omaha’s fine craft cocktail bars. “I used to be a bartender so that's interesting to me. I really like the Green Room or the Berry and Rye. . . I like gin, and elderflower liqueurs, anything herbal.” 

When it's time to get out of town, Lindsay usually heads to the Most Magical Place on Earth. “I try to go to California at least once a year. I go to Disney a lot. I'm definitely a Disney person. Disneyland, Disney World, all that kind of stuff.” Her favorite movie is Toy Story. “Ever since I was little I've had all the little dolls and everything, so that's definitely the most nostalgic one.” Yet ask her which ride is best, and you'll find she likes slightly darker things, too. “My favorite ride is the Pirates of the Caribbean. You feel like you're actually in the movie, and it's just realistic and fun.” (Even with its skeletons and zombie pirates, this is not the scariest ride at Disney. According to the internet, that honor goes to the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.)

To conclude, a pinch of spice. “My guilty pleasure is reality shows. I watch a lot of Love Island.” At this writing, Disney has no plans to make a Love Island ride, but we can always hope.
